Dr. Stanley's areas of interest include diagnosis and treatment of disease, difficult contact lens fittings, dry eye treatment, and family vision care.

Matthew T. Stanley, O.D. is co-owner and CEO of Eye Care Associates of Manhattan, P.A., where he has proudly served the Manhattan community with comprehensive eye care for over 20 years. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Kansas State University and his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry, where he met his wife, Dr. Darcy Stanley.

Originally from Dodge City, Kansas, Dr. Stanley is passionate about caring for patients of all ages throughout Manhattan and the surrounding communities. He has a special interest in dry eye disease and ocular surface treatment, as well as fitting advanced specialty contact lenses-including multifocal, scleral, and gas permeable lenses. He also provides comprehensive family eye care with a strong emphasis on prevention and long-term vision health.

Dr. Stanley believes the best care starts with strong relationships. He is known for his thorough, personalized approach and for creating a relaxed, welcoming environment where patients feel heard, understood, and cared for. He is an active member of the Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce, the Kansas Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association.

Outside the office, Dr. Stanley enjoys life with his wife, their three children, and their miniature goldendoodle, Jasper. Whether he's on the golf course, exploring new technology, attending a K-State athletic event, or cheering on his kids in their many sports and activities, he values staying active and connected with his family and community.

Darcy D. Stanley, O.D. is co-owner of Eye Care Associates of Manhattan, P.A.. Although she no longer practices clinically, she remains an important part of the practice and its continued growth and success.

Originally from Great Bend, Kansas, Dr. Darcy completed her undergraduate studies at Fort Hays State University before earning her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry, where she met her husband, Dr. Matt Stanley.

Outside of the practice, Dr. Darcy enjoys spending time with her three children, cooking, reading, traveling, and being with the family's miniature goldendoodle, Jasper. She is also a member of the Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce, the Kansas Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association.

Dr. Woofter's areas of interest include diagnosis and management of ocular disease, contact lens fitting, and low vision rehabilitation.

Dr. Woofter grew up in Cimarron, Kansas, before moving to Manhattan to attend Kansas State University. During his undergraduate studies, he worked as an optometric technician at Eye Care Associates of Manhattan. He then completed his doctoral training at the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry.

Dr. Woofter and his wife, Cassie, frequently attend K-State sporting events or enjoy watching from an area restaurant. He usually spends his free time golfing, going to the lake, or experimenting with new recipes on the grill.

He is a member of the Kansas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
